Holy cow...here we go

So...tomorrow's the day! Student teaching begins and I'm scared, very scared. I actually only have a faculty meeting tomorrow so we shall see how that goes. Currently, I am studying for the Praxis II with my pal Robyn. I have to take it on Saturday. The only good think about it is that I'll get to see my superfantastical classmates that I haven't seen in forever and a dizzay. I definitely do NOT want to fail this test, so I'm praying for the best. Well..that sums up today's blogness. I'm boring. I should take up cross stitching or something.

And so it begins...

Woo Hoo...my very own blog! So, in light of the fact that my best good friend will be residing in Italy until April 26th, 2009, I have decided to start a blog that will keep her posted on all of the wonderful disasters happening in the US of A! I also find that this may be quite therapeutic for myself since I love to ramble on a daily basis about...well...nothing. Like my culturally inclined friend, Julie, I will be beginning my student teaching in January, not in a foreign country but close-- in my wicked awesome hometown of Anderson, SC! As I embark on this last semester of college, which I thought would NEVER arrive, I feel anxious and excited about what is to become in 2009. Graduation? A job? Insurance? Oh the possibilities! But for now, I am just biding my time until the clock takes me to a new year and hopefully a new beginning. They say that today is the first day of the rest of your life...which would make tomorrow the first day...and then when you're done with that day...it's the next day. My point being that each day is a fresh start to whatever you want it to be. And my new years resolution? NONE! NADA! Not Happening! I will not set myself up for disappointment....but that will be for my next post. For now, a shout out to a great person whom I will miss dearly as she lives the dream! I almost feel like we should be sending a pair of pants back and forth or something...oh well...guess this blog will have to do!! Tootles!
